Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Bonded Wine Cellar License or Permit in person, the applicant has to make an application at the area command of the Nigeria Customs Service.
- The address and contact details can be found in the following contact link
- Visit the area command with a Written Application for Bonded Wine Cellar License or Permit from the relevant department.
- The application should contain appropriate details and required information with respect to your license requirement.
- Make sure that you have all documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page, when you visit the office.
- After that, attach all the required documents with the application and submit them to the Area Controller at the office.
- Pay the required amount of fees as directed. Then, the officials will proceed to perform the internal processes with respect to the applicant’s request.
- Initially, your attached documents and application form will be forwarded to the Comptroller General’s office and to check for sufficiency and appropriateness.
- If found sufficient, further necessary tasks will be accomplished by the concerned officials for the issuance of license.
- Once all the tasks and processes are over, applicant will be intimated through phone or email, to collect the license.

License fees payable to the Nigeria Customs Service is N3000.00
ValidityEdit
The license is only valid till 31st December of the year in which it is obtained.
