You are a Nicaragua resident; are a single; you can apply for your single status certificate or certificate of singleness (Certificado de Solter’a) by following:

1. Prepare the required documents:
   1. A copy of your birth certificate
   2. A copy of your Nicaragua identification card
   3. A notarial faith that is performed by a legal lawyer
2. Visit a suitable Nicaragua Civil Registry of the Municipality Office Locations
   • Present the required documents and follow all of the concerned officer’s guiding to apply for your single status; pay the applicable fee and you can receive the certificate in processing time of 8 business days.
