ProcedureEdit

A copy of your driving record (driver's abstract) may be obtained in person, by mail or fax from any Motor Registration Office in the province.

To receive a copy of your driver record (abstract) you may complete the application form attached in this page.

Or submit the following information:

  • Surname and given name(s)
  • Driver's licence number or date of birth
  • Postal address or fax number (with area code) where you would like the driver's abstract returned.
  • Any person requesting a driver's record for another individual must have written permission in order for the record to be processed.

Processing TimeEdit

  • If you apply for a Driver Record (Abstract) in person at the counter in any of our offices you will receive the record(abstract) the same day.
  • If you apply by mail, fax or email, upon receipt of the request, please allow 3 business days for processing.

Note: Processing times are approximate and may change depending on the volume of requests received.
