- To Apply for Residential Building Renovator’s License, the applicant has to approach the Service Canada office link
- NOTE: Enter the address and the range of Km and click the “Find” button to check the nearest office.
- The first step is to determine the requirements for licensure in the province or territory. This may include completing a specific educational program or apprenticeship, passing an exam, or demonstrating a certain level of experience in the industry.
- Once the applicant determined the requirements for licensure, the applicant will need to meet these requirements. This may involve completing an educational program or apprenticeship, gaining work experience in the industry, and passing any required exams.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- Submit all the essential documents along with the completed application form to the office.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- Also, the applicant has to complete the training and pass the examination to their knowledge and skills in their field.
- Once the verification process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- If the application is approved, the applicant will receive a permit or license to Residential Building Renovators License.
- This entire process can be completed within 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
