- To apply for Museums Assistance Program (Canada-France agreement), the applicant must approach the Official Languages Program. Here is the contact Link
- The applicant will need to contact the nearest regional office of the Department of Canadian Heritage to discuss the project. Here is the Link
- The applicant will need to discuss the project with the department. Once they do so, they shall obtain an application package.
- Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
- The applicant will need to submit the additional documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant does not need to pay fees, but they may need to pay for additional expenses.
- The applicant will need to submit the application form along with the required documents to the address under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- Once the application form has been submitted, it will be forwarded for evaluation.
- The applicant will receive an application acknowledgement receipt after 2 weeks of the submission.

- Click on “Submit” to create an account.
- Once the applicant is logged in to their account, they can click on the applications page to find the application for the Museums Assistance Program.
- Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
