Apply Online

  1. To apply for Business number registration online, the applicant can apply to the Canada revenue agency. Here is the contact Link

  3. If the applicant is a representative click on the following link to register Link
  4. The applicant can also apply through Business registration online, here is the Link
  5. The applicant will need to answer all the questions when prompted.
  6. The applicant does not need to pay fees for this procedure.
  7. The applicant will need to complete the application in one sitting.
  8. Once the applicant has answered all the questions they can click on the “submit” button to submit that application.
  9. The application will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for verification.
  10. Once the application has been approved, the applicant’s business number will be registered.


Apply Online (For non-resident Businesses)

  1. To apply for a business registration online, the applicant can use business registration online to obtain a business number or the applicant can apply for the Canada Revenue Agency programs. Here is the contact Link

  3. The applicant will be directed to the terms and conditions page, read this carefully and click on “Agree”.
  4. Under residency status, select the “Non-resident” option and click on “Next”.
  5. The applicant will be directed to the application page where they will be prompted to enter information and answer questions.
  6. The applicant will need to complete the application in one sitting.
  7. Once the applicant has answered all the questions they can click on “submit” to submit that application.
  8. The application will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for verification.
  9. Once the application has been approved, the applicant’s business number will be registered.
