Apply In-Person:
- To apply for an Automotive Salesperson License, the applicant will need to submit the application form to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Department of consumer affairs, here is the contact Link
- Use the following link to download the application form Link
- Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
- The applicant must submit all the required documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page. The applicant can find information on how to submit the documents in the application form.
- The applicant will also need to pay fees for registration, find fee-related information under the “Fees” section of this page.
- The applicant will need to submit a Criminal record check obtained from the nearest RCMP.
- Submit the application form along with the documents in-person to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- The applicant must complete the application within 30 days from the submission of their application.
- Once the applicant submits the application they will get their license either by mail or must collect it in person as will be intimated by the authorities.
- Once submitted, the applicant shall receive their license within a month from the submission of the application.

- The applicant must be a salesperson in Newfoundland and Labrador.

- The applicant may enrol in a Salesperson registration course prior to finding gainful employment.
- The applicant has to mandatorily renew license every year, if they engage in business without renewing their license, they could face enforcement action.
