New Delhi - Online Apply for Certificate of Identification (COI)

Step 1:First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link: Required Documents to Apply for Certificate of Identification (COI).

Step 2:Please use the following link to apply online: Apply Online.

Step 3:If you are a new user then click on the “New User Registration” option which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 4: Fill up all the details and click on the “Register” button to register yourself as a user which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image

Step 5:Once you successfully registered yourself, click on the “Existing user login” option to log-in to your account and fill-up the details and click “Login“ button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 6:Click on the “Apply for Identity Certificate” option on the dashboard and then click on the “Click here to fill the application form online” hyperlink which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 7: Fill up all the details in the form, as seen in the below image upload a copy of all the required documents, and submit.

Step 8:Next, the payment gateway will open where you will need to make the payment.

Step 9:Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number.

Step 10:You will receive another SMS on the registered mobile number after the authorities verify the submitted form and the documents, stating the date and time on which you need to visit the PSK.

Step 11: On receiving the SMS, visit PSK on the asked date and time with the original documents and the print out of the application form.

Step 12: On the day of reporting, the concerned authorities will verify all the original documents.

Step 13: Once all the above procedures are successfully completed, you will be given a receipt. Keep the receipt safe and wait till you receive any further information from the PSK.

Step 14: You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number, once your application is processed and the certificate is printed and ready for dispatch.
