Apply Online
- To Apply for Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS), the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
- The applicant has to enter their 10-digit mobile number and enter OTP to register.
- After login click “service directory” and select “National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP)”
- Click “Apply online” and enter Applicant Details, Account Details, Aadhar Verification.
- Next select “Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)” and fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Review the application and click submit.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
- Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the Bank Account.
- The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply Through CSC
- To Apply for Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS), the applicant has to approach the respective “CSC” centre link
- NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.
- Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
- If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
- Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
- The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as an acknowledgment. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
- Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
- The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
- This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
- ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
- The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
- Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the Bank Account.
- The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply In-Person:
- To Apply for Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS), the applicant has to approach the social welfare offices in the respective state link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
- The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- Age Proof - For age, the birth certificate or school certificate may be relied on. In their absence ration card and EPIC may be considered. If there is no valid document, any Medical Officer of any government hospital may be authorized to issue the age certificate.
- Disability certificate: - Disability certificate (80% and more) issued from Chief Medical Officer, Community Health Centre or Primary Health Centre will be accepted.
- Passport Size Photographs.

EligibilityEdit
The eligibility criteria for a disabled person to avail the benefits are as follows.
- The age of the applicant should range between 18-79 years.
- The applicant should be a resident of India.
- The applicant should be a physically or mentally disabled person.
- The applicant’s disability should be more than 80%. Dwarfs are also eligible for this scheme.
- The applicant should belong to Below Poverty Line.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Indira Gandhi National Disability Scheme was launched on February 2009 by the Ministry of Rural Development headed by the Central Government to support the disabled people in our country. This scheme introduced under National Social Assistance Program provides monthly pension to disabled people for the prosperity of their lives. Any disabled person whose age is more than 18 years, and with disability 80% or more belonging to the poverty line can apply for this scheme.
