Apply by Mail

1. To register for an Automotive dealer license, the applicant will need to complete and submit the application form to New Brunswick Canada, here is the contact Link
2. Click on the following link to download the application form Link
3. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
4. The applicant must submit all the required documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page. The applicant can find information on how to submit the documents in the application form.
5. The applicant will also need to pay fees for registration, find fee-related information under the “Fees” section of this page.
6. Mail the application form along with the documents to the Motor vehicle branch, find the address under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
7. Once the applicant completes the application and submits it, they will receive their license either by mail or must collect it in person as will be intimated by the authorities.
8. The applicant shall be registered within 30 days from the completion of the course.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be 19 years of age or above.
• The applicant must mandatorily go through a criminal record check.
• The applicant’s dealership site must comply with all safety standards.

Fees

• The applicant will need to pay a 150$ application fee.

Validity

• The automotive salesperson's license needs to be renewed every year.
• If the applicant does not renew the license for more than three years they will have to complete the salesperson course again.

• The applicant has to mandatorily renew license every year, if they engage in business without renewing their license, they could face enforcement action.
• The applicant has to go through a background check and they must pay for it.
