  2. When you call you’ll be connected to an assistant. Please note that the assistant is not a doctor you may not ask any medical advise.
  3. The assistant will find the first available appointment for you. There are test locations can only be accessed by car.
  4. While waiting for your appointment please stay at home.
  5. On the day of your appointment do not forget to bring proof of identity and confirmation of your appointment with you. Medical front liners will check your details once you arrive.
  6. A GGD staff member will use a cotton swab to collect mucus from your throat and nose. The swab will go deep into your nose and throat. Ideally it is a painless process, but might feel a little uncomfortable.
  7. Once you got swabbed go home immediately. Remain in your home until you receive your results.
  8. If you made an appointment by telephone, you will receive your result by telephone as soon as possible.

  7. Someone from the GGD will call you for contact tracing and to discuss what are your next steps.
  8. If your test comes back negative, instead of a call you will be notified via email when your result is available for viewing on the website, normally within 2 days.
