Procedure

1. Get the money transfer form from post office or from general post office official website.
2. Fill out the form with the detailed information about the receiver or sender of the money.
   

• For India, exchange charge on every Rs.100 (15 paisa N.C.)
• Advice of payment Rs.50 one time only if mentioned while registering.
• To change the receiver's address or to cancel, Rs. 50 will be charged.
• Except India, to send money in US$ authorization letter or other evidence should be attached.
  
  

For Payment

• After receiving transferred money, related person will be informed.
• After the related person is informed, one should come with the identity.
• In case the related person cannot come to receive the payment, photocopy of identity and authorization letter of the related person can be submitted to receive the payment by another person.
  
  

For Insurance Payment

• After receiving insurance payment, one will be informed.
• After the related person is informed, one should come with the identity.
• In case the related person cannot come to receive the insurance, photocopy of identity and authorization letter of the related person can be submitted to receive the insurance by another person.
  
  

Inquiry

• If the transferred money cannot be payed, inquiry can be made

Even if this world is era of technology so use of postal service has reduced very much however still the use of postal service is necessary as still we need to transfer money from other countries we can depend on postal service as it is safe and reliable.
