Procedure

1. If the divorce certificate is lost or destroyed in any manner, the concerned person may submit a request to obtain a copy of the certificate to the local registrar's office.
2. Do not forget to bring a valid identification, you may be asked to present this to confirm your identity and to make sure that you have the right to obtain a copy of the divorce certificate.
3. Pay the application fee and wait for instructions from the Registrar regarding when can you comeback to collect the certificate.
