Procedure

1. Obtain the death certificate from the registry office where the death took place or registered.
2. Submit all the required documents.
3. Pay the administrative fee.

Those who may apply to obtain the death certificate:

• Family of the deceased :
  • Father
  • Husband
• Guardian of the deceased

Fees

You will need to pay an administrative fee of 2dh to receive the death certificate.

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
e.g. Birth Certificate Valid Forever

A Death Certificate is a document issued by the municipality where the deceased died or in the town where the deceased used lived. The full copy of the death certificate is a complete reproduction of the entries listed on the act of dcs. A summarized copy may also be obtained.
