a. Apply online - Morocco Obtain Police Clearance Certificate (Criminal Record) Online with Images
  1. In order to apply for PCC online, applicant has to reach the online portal: link
  2. In the given page, please select the checkbox for “Please read and accept the Terms of Use of the service before starting the process” under section "Submission of the application" and then select options “Morocco” / “Abroad” as applicable and hit “The start of the process” to get next page.
  3. In this page, please enter the code as provided at the prompt and hit the tab “Next step” to reach next page for applying.
  4. Please complete the page prompt for “Identity”. “Attachments uploading”, “Confirmation” and “The delivery way” sessions and hit the respective tab to complete online filing.
  5. This online application will be processed further to generate certificate. Once the certificate is generated, applicant gets notification and the certificate will be delivered as per applicable norms.


Applying process in Morocco for citizen and non-citizen.

a. Apply in-person
  1. Applicant shall apply in person at “Ministry of justice” or you can nominate a representative(for citizen) to apply on your behalf.
  2. Address:

  3. Applicant or applicant’s representative(for citizen) shall go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.
  4. Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant/representative(for citizen) should pay for any charges if required as advised.
  5. This application will be processed by respective department.
  6. The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in person upon notification or issued as per norms.
Note: Representative(for citizen) should carry the following while applying.
  • written authorization.
  • ID card or passport.


Applying process - overseas for citizen and non-citizen.

A. Apply through embassy or consulate in-person
  1. Applicant can apply at their nearest embassy or consulate in-person. Link to locate the embassy or consulate: link
  2. Application form can be obtained from the embassy. Call the office and fix appointment for personal visit. Also find out the details for this procedure.
  3. On the scheduled date, go to the office with all the document in original and in copy. Please follow as per officer guidelines to process your application.
  4. This application will be processed by the respective department. The completed certificates are forwarded to the concern.
  5. Applicant shall collect the certificate with the respective office upon notification or can get it delivered as per norms applicable.

EligibilityEdit

  • Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
  • Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
  • The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
  • Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.

InstructionsEdit

In Morocco, a police clearance certificate can only be requested from the police office of the applicant's residence district. It is usually issued within 48 hours. For the police certificate to be valid in abroad, it needs to be notarized by the embassy of that country, or by the Moroccan embassy.

In either case, the clearance has first to be notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rabat, Morocco (Hassan Area - near Hotel Sofitel Diwan). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (notarization office) is very close to the Qatar Embassy (5 minutes walking).

If a police clearance is not notarized by Foreign Affairs in Morocco, the Moroccan Embassy in Doha can provide a certified "copy" with an embassy stamp.

Local Requests

  • Moroccan citizens should obtain a "fiche anthropomtrique" at the local police office.
  • You will need your national identity card, and you will have to pay the applicable fees.
  • Someone else may apply on your behalf, as long as they have your national identity card.
  • If you are not a Moroccan citizen, you can get a Bulletin no 3 from the Service central des casiers judiciaires at Place de la Mamounia in Rabat.


Non-Resident Requests

  • You can get a certificate at a Moroccan embassy or consulate.
  • You can also get a police certificate by proxy by applying to the Service central des casiers judiciaires at Place de la Mamounia in Rabat.
  • To apply by proxy, you must provide the required documents:
  • If you are a Moroccan citizen, you must provide your national identity card or photocopies of your passport and birth certificate, as well as information about your stay, your employment and your residence in Morocco.

Required InformationEdit

The applicant must provide a full set of his/her fingerprints, preferably taken at their nearest police station. The applicants full name, surname, date of birth, place of birth and identity number must also be recorded on the fingerprint form. A copy of the applicants identity document or passport must accompany the application. The applicant must present their identity document at the police station, as proof of identity will be required.

A police certificate is an official document issued by police or government agency of a country to enumerate any criminal records that the applicant may or may not have. Criminal records may include arrest, conviction, and possibly criminal proceedings.

This is the record of convictions by criminal courts against a person. The record may also contain other decisions, such as trade bans imposed by the commercial courts. Copies of criminal records are called extracts. For this sample, please follow the procedure below.

If you live in Morocco

If you are a Moroccan citizen, you must obtain a fiche anthropomtrique from your local police station. You will need your national identity card, and you will have to pay the applicable fees. Someone else may apply on your behalf, as long as they have your national identity card.

If you live outside Morocco

You can get a certificate at a Moroccan embassy or consulate. You can also get a police certificate by proxy by applying to the Service central des casiers judiciaires at Place de la Mamounia in Rabat.

To apply by proxy, you must provide the following documents:

  • a notarized proxy;
  • a photocopy of your birth certificate;
  • a photocopy of the first page of your passport;
  • a photocopy of the page of your passport that shows the date of your most recent entry into Morocco; and
  • a tax stamp for 10 DH.

If you are a Moroccan citizen, you must provide your national identity card or photocopies of your passport and birth certificate, as well as information about your stay, your employment and your residence in Morocco.

Other uses of the Document/CertificateEdit

A police clearance certificate is a copy of your criminal record or a declaration of the absence of any criminal record. Police clearance certificates are different in each country and territory and may be called police certificates, good conduct certificates, judicial record extracts, pcc, etc. They are issued by police authorities or government departments and used by Citizenship and Immigration to prevent individuals who possess a risk to Country's security from entering the country.
