Procedure

• Mixed Race Marriage Permit may be obtained from the registry of the secretariat of Family Justice Division.
• Submit all the required documents.
• Pay the application fee.
• Claim your permit in the same office where you submitted your application.

Required Documents

Moroccan men marrying a non-Moroccan citizen

For the Moroccan fianc:

• Administrative certificate of the fianc or a copy of the divorce decree or final divorce judgment if previously married
• Extract of birth certificate
• Copy of criminal record or anthropometric record if applicants are born in Morocco or a copy of national criminal record ( Ministry of Justice, Directorate of criminal affairs and Pardon) if the applicant was born abroad
• Medical certificate
• Copy of the national identity card
• Four recent photos

For the foreign fiance:

• Certificate of capacity to contract marriage issued by the Embassy or Consulate of the country of the fiance, certified true copy by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Copy of the divorce deed or the final judgement of divorce if the party was previously married
• Copy of the birth certificate obtained from the civil status register
• Certificate of residence issued by the country of origin or by the competent authorities of the host country if the applicant is a resident in Morocco or in any other country other than their country of origin, taking into account the validity period
• Certificate of citizenship issued by the authorities of the country or origin or by its consular services in Morocco
• Copy of the criminal record or the anthropometric record, if the fiance was born in Morocco or national criminal record (Ministry of Justice Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Pardon) if the applicant was born abroad
• Certified document stating the true religion of the foreign fiance, or a certified copy of the deed of conversion to Islam or any other evidence documents of religion
• Medical certificate
• Copy of the first page of the passport stating the date of entry in Morocco
• Four recent photographs

Moroccan women marrying a non-Moroccan citizen

For the Foreign fianc:

• Certificate of capacity to contract marriage issued by the Embassy or Consulate of the country of the foreign fianc, certified true copy by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Copy of the divorce deed or the final judgement of divorce if previously married
• Statement of profession and revenue
• Certificate of residence issued by the country of origin or by the competent authorities of the host country if the applicant is a resident in Morocco or in any other country other than their country of origin, taking into account the validity period
• Certified copy of the deed of conversion to Islam or any other evidence documents of religion
• Copy of the birth certificate obtained from the civil status register
• Certificate of citizenship issued by the authorities of the country or origin or by its certified consular services in Morocco
• Copy of the criminal record or the anthropometric record, if the fianc was born in Morocco or national criminal record (Ministry of Justice Directorate of Criminal Affairs and Pardon) if born abroad
• Medical certificate
• Copy of the first page of the passport stating the date of entry in Morocco
• Four recent photographs

For the Moroccan fiance:

• Administrative certificate of the fiance or a copy of the divorce decree or final divorce judgement if previously married
• Certified true copy of tutors agreement for minors
• Extract of birth certificate
• Certified copy of the national identity card
• Copy of criminal record or anthropometric record if applicants are born in Morocco or a copy of national criminal record ( Ministry of Justice, Directorate of criminal affairs and Pardon) if the applicant was born abroad
• Four recent photos
