Need for the DocumentEdit

To apply for a surname is a mandatory process for parents. After birth, the parents must go to the civil status office to register the new born and therefore choose a forename. The criteria of choice are: to avoid choosing non-Moroccan, compound names and those derived from names of cities, villages, or tribes. Forenames must not be of prejudice to public order and to values.
