ProcedureEdit
- A letter from the applicant addressed to the Ambassador requesting a laissez-passer, stating the date of travel and Mention the transiting country in your letter of request.
- Please make sure that your name and address appear on the application Letter.
- Fill out the Application form.
- Attach a police Report
- Send all documents and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the General Directorate of Immigration Affairs the Embassy through the Postal Service. In case you choose to use another service for the return of your documents.
Applicants must go to the Consulate who has jurisdiction in the area.
- Attach the following documents are required
- A police report indicating the loss of passport.
- Copy of lost passport (if available)
- The original/or copy of the Moroccan National ID.
- Two pictures.(Please write name & CIN# on the back).
- The applicant has to attend the Consulate in person except if the officer in charge sees otherwise
- Apply for the Laissez passer pass
- The Consulate will.
- Submit the required documents and cancel the value of the document.

- A money order of $17.80 payable to the Consulate of Morocco.(Please write your name & address on the money order).
Fees for returning your mail are not included in the fees above. To ensure the reception of your document, please include a prepaid express mail envelope obtained from the post office. Please note that this is the only mailing method accepted.

It is Eligible to Moroccan citizens who have permanent residence in Morocco.

Application forms are available free of charge from the Embassy
Laissez-passer processing fees: $100.00.
ValidityEdit
The validity depends on the travel plans, but never exceeds two years or the child's fifth birthday.

InstructionsEdit
- All Laissez Passer holder should have a police report indicating the loss of passport.
- Moroccan National has to register with the Consulate prior to any transaction.
- Applicants need not apply in person If you live outside Morocco you can mail your documents for process.
You need to include a self-stamped Post Office Express mail envelope in all requests so you can insure a fast service.
- You need to come to the Consulate in person to give fingerprints again.
- This document is for a single journey to Morocco and the bearer is required to obtain a valid passport when is in Morocco through the Passport Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Cooperation in Morocco.
- A copy of the Moroccan driver License is good in case you do not have la Carte Nationale Card.
- Applicants have to appear in person and sign the document before a clerk at the Consulate after showing their Moroccan ID.

- Two (2) passport size photos ( white background,1.5" x 2.5")
- A copy of both parent's passport in case of a child.
- Applicant's Full name
- An original or authenticated copy of the birth certificate.
- Valid identity proof
- Proof of Citizenship

- Parent names for married women
- Emergency contact person.
Need for the DocumentEdit
Laissez-passer is an emergency travel document issued to Moroccan nationals to allow them to return to Morocco in case they lost their passports and they can not wait for the lost passport procedure to be completed. This document is issued only after establishing the applicant Moroccan Citizenship.
The laissez-passer is a document only valid for one entry and for one month from the date of issuance, It is only issued to temporarily replace lost, stolen or expired passports and for children newly born in Morocco.
