Procedure

• Submit all the documents at your local affiliates of the National Registration Department.
• Fill in the application form
• Passport officer will check photos provided they must be the exact image of the applicant
• Pay the application fee and fill in the bank form
• Passport officer must verify the documents

All citizens of Mongolia are eligible for a passport

Fees

1 year for new passport 22,500 m

5 years for new passport 32500 m

Validity

Passport are valid for either 1 yr or 5 yrs applicant will choose which to apply for when applying application fee vary

New Mongolian passports are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Ulaanbaatar or at Mongolian Embassies worldwide. Passports may be cancelled even though they are processed

A Mongolian passport is a document which authorises and facilitates travel and other activities in Mongolia or by Mongolian citizens. Foreign travel passports are issued to citizens of Mongolia for international travel.
