  • To obtain the new electronic Monegasque identity card (CIME) you simply have to present your old identity card.
  • However, if you are in one of the following cases below, you will need to fill up and submit additional documents to apply for a new CIME:
    • For those aged 13 to 18: Parental consent
    • If you are unable to move: Medical Certificate
    • Unable to sign the document: Medical Certificate
    • An adult under guardianship: Proof of Guardianship
  • In case your old identity card was stolen or got lost, you will need to present a certificate of loss or theft issued by the police and an identity document it may be your passport or your driving license.
  • If you are unable to pickup your CIME yourself, you may a assign someone who will receive the new CIME on your behalf, you will only need to fill up and sign the proxy statement.
