Monaco - Enrol Your Child in Secondary School
ProcedureEdit
- Depending on whether your child will be joining the 6e (Year 7), 5e (Year 8), 4e (Year 9) or 3e (Year 10), you may enrol your child under a state-run school, a private school under contract or a private school.
- Once you have decided where you would like to enrol your child, gather all the documents you will need to register your child in a secondary school.
- If your child attends a State school in Monaco:
- The secretarial office of the school will give you a registration form for 6e (Year 7), which you will need to fill out.
- Return the form to the secretarial office of the school which will forward it directly to the Collge Charles III
- If your child attends a private school under contract:
- The secretarial office of the school will give you a registration form for 6e (Year 7), which you will need to fill out.
- Return the form to the secretarial office of the school which will forward it directly to the collge FANB
- If you decided to enrol your child directly at the secondary school:
- Download and fill up the enrolment form.
- Set an appointment with the secretarial office by calling (+377) 98 98 88 87.
- Gather all the documents that you will need to submit.
- The child would have to take a test in cases where the child's mother tongue is a language other than French or the child was previously enrolled in a private school that was not under contract. In both cases, the Department of Education, Youth and Sport will send you the contact details of the Head of the school. You can then arrange a meeting with the school officials, and set a date when your child may take the test.
