Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for a Gaming License, the applicant has to approach the Municipal government link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. Then the application will be processed further.
10. The regulatory authority will conduct a thorough review of your application and may perform background checks on key individuals associated with the gaming business.
11. They will assess your compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. You may be required to provide additional information or attend an interview during the evaluation process.
12. The regulatory authority may conduct inspections of your gaming establishment or online platform to ensure compliance with safety, security, and responsible gaming measures. They will verify that your premises meet the required standards and that your operations adhere to the regulations.
13. If your application is approved, you will receive a gaming license from the Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos. The license will specify the types of gaming activities you are authorized to offer, the location(s) where you can operate, and any additional conditions or restrictions.
14. Once you obtain a gaming license, it is important to maintain ongoing compliance with the regulations and requirements set by the regulatory authority. This includes adherence to responsible gaming practices, reporting obligations, payment of licensing fees, and cooperation with inspections and audits.
