  1. To Apply for Financial Advisor License, the applicant has to approach the Secretaría de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural link
  2. Look for reputable certification programs offered by recognized institutions, organizations, or government agencies in Mexico. Consider factors such as the program's credibility, recognition, and alignment with your goals.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. Ensure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  8. The cost of applying for a financial advisor license in Mexico is $500 pesos.
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  11. Then the application will be processed further and all the updates on the application status will be notified through email or by SMS.
  12. They may conduct interviews or additional assessments to evaluate your suitability for a Financial Advisor License.
  13. Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant has to collect the certificate from the officer by visiting the office.
  14. If your application is approved, you will receive your Financial Advisor License. The license will indicate your authorization to provide financial advisory services within the specified scope and according to the regulatory guidelines.
  15. This entire process can be completed within 6 to 8 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
