- To Apply for Environmental Health and Safety Professional (EHS) Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources link
- Check the program requirements of the institutions or organizations offering the EHS certification. Review the eligibility criteria, prerequisites, and any specific educational or experience requirements for enrolling in their program.
- Select an EHS certification program that aligns with your career goals and interests. Consider factors such as program content, duration, accreditation, and the reputation of the institution or organization offering the certification.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Ensure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- The applicant may be called for an interview or assessment as part of the application process. This step helps evaluate your suitability for the program.
- Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant has to collect the certificate from the officer by visiting the office.
- After the institution or organization reviews your application, you will receive an admission decision. If accepted, you will receive a formal admission letter or confirmation of enrollment.
- Once admitted, you will need to fulfill the program requirements to obtain the EHS certification. This typically includes attending classes, completing coursework, passing examinations, and meeting any practical experience requirements.
- Upon successful completion of the program requirements, the institution or organization will award you the Environmental Health and Safety Professional (EHS) Certificate, which acknowledges your completion of the program and your expertise in the field of EHS.
- This entire process can be completed within 2 – 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

To be eligible to apply for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional Certificate in Mexico, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of Mexico or have a valid work visa.
