Apply In-Person:
- Applicant must visit the “OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER “authorities to apply in person with the documents specified under required documents session. Please use this link for contact details: District List click on the name of the district and click the link provided for reaching respective district portal to get DC contact details.
- Please go to the respective office. Submit the completed application obtained from office or can be downloaded from the link below: Application form
- Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
- This application will be verified by the respective authorities as per DC instruction.
- There will be a ground-level verification and scrutiny of the documents and details provided.
- Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective DC to decide and issue the Income Certificate to the applicant.
- Applicant will get the certificate in 7 days after due verification.

- Use the following link to reach online portal. Link: Online portal
- In the given page, please select “signin/register/forget password” option to get the login page.
- If you are a new user, use the “Don't have an account? Register HERE” option to register and then login.
- Registered user can fill the page prompts and hit log in to login.
- Once login, user gets list of services page. Here select Apply for the Income certificate service name to reach the next page.
- Fill out the online application form with required details.
- Upload the scanned copies of the relevant documents.
- Complete payment gateway and acknowledgement sessions to apply online.
- An acknowledgement slip will be generated on successful submission of the application form. Note the application number for future reference.
- This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
- Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying.
- Applicant shall use the online portal to know the status by providing application number and to print the processed certificate.
Apply Through CSC Centre
- To Apply Income Certificate, the applicant has to approach respective “CSC” centre link
- NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.
- Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
- If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
- Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
- The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
- Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
- This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
- ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
- The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
- Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of the family card.
- The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.
- If approved, the ration card will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued as per the applicable norms within 60 days or as per the timeline advised.

- Self declaration from the applicant.
- Residential Proof: Residential Certificate issued by Local administration office/ Aadhar card/ Passport / Driving License / Ration Card / Govt. Id card / Defence ID Card / PAN Card.
- Age proof (birth certificate / school certificate)
- Income Proof: Salary certificate, Income proof from competent authority, income tax return acknowledgement.
- Applicant passport size photograph.
- 2 different Gazette Officers certification (as per requirement)
- Education records duly signed
- Aadhaar card
- Land revenue receipt (in case of farmer if available).
- Affix stamp as advised by authorities if required.
