Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Request Payment of Driving Test, the applicant must visit the nearest Driving License Office in Mauritius to make an appointment for the driving test Contact link.
2. The applicant will need to bring a required documents such as a valid identity card, passport, and they can be found under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. The applicant will also need to pay the relevant fee for the driving test and bring the necessary documents such as proof of address, medical certificate and proof of passing the theory test.
4. The fee for the driving test varies depending on the category of vehicle being tested and the fees details can be found under the “Fees” section of this page.
5. Once the applicant has provided all the necessary documents and paid the fee, the Driving Test Office will issue to the applicant a receipt, which they can use to book a test date.
6. The processing time for requesting payment of driving test in Mauritius is usually between 1 to 3 working days.

Apply Online

1. To Request Payment of Driving Test, the applicant must visit the E-service portal link.
2. On the home page, the applicant need to click on the "Payments" tab.
3. On the Payments page, click on the " Request Payment of Driving Test "
4. Then the applicant should Log in to the applicant account using the username and password the applicant created when registering for online services on the website at link
5. Once logged in, the applicant will be directed to the payment page.
6. The applicant should Enter the necessary details such as their name, address, contact number, email address, license number and type of test.
7. After the applicant must select the payment method of their choice from the available options.
8. The applicant must enter the amount to be paid and click on ‘Submit’.
9. Once the applicant’s payment is successful, the applicant will receive a confirmation email along with a payment receipt.

Instructions

• Payment for driving tests and scheduling of appointment can be affected on line.
•  An applicant applies for an appointment on-line giving details (including email address) respecting the type of test he/she wishes to undergo.
• Payments for the tests are affected on line through Internet banking.
• The Licensing Office receives such applications online and after verification, if an applicant is eligible, a reply is sent to him/her on the e-mail address provided, respecting the date and time of his appointment.
• On the scheduled appointment date, the applicant will call at the Examiners Office for the test with a printed copy of the mail.
