Mauritius - Obtain Tax Clearance Certificate

Apply Online
- To apply for the Tax Clearance Certificate, the applicant should make the application to Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) through the MRA E-Application for Tax Clearance Certificate portal. Please view the MRA contact details through this Contact Details.
- The applicant should first obtain a letter from a Public Body requesting for the applicant to provide a Tax Clearance Certificate from MRA.
- On receipt of a letter from a Public Body requesting a Tax Clearance Certificate from MRA, the applicant should apply for the Tax Clearance Certificate electronically using the reference specified in the letter.
- Visit the MRA E-Application for Tax Clearance Certificate portal for the online application through this E-Application.
- On the website, the applicant should inserter the unique reference number issued by the public body in the “Unique Reference Number” section and click on the “Confirm” button.
- The system will authenticate the reference number and the applicant will be required to complete the online form as instructed.
- Once the form is completed and submitted to the MRA using the online platform, the MRA will process the Tax Clearance Certificate and issue it to the applicant.
