Apply In-Person
- To apply for the permit to display a banner, you should make your application to the Road Development Authority (RDA). Please view the RDA contact details through this RDA contacts.
- Obtain the application form in person from the RDA office or download the form from the RDA website RDA Downloadable Documents and Forms (please select “Application for the display of banners” to download the form).
- Read and complete the application form accordingly. You can contact RDA in advance to enquire about the required documents.
- Attach the required documents to the completed application form.
- Then visit the RDA office and submit your application along with all the required supporting documents at least five working days in advance along with the required documents to the service official at the reception for verification.
- The official will verify your application to check if the form is completed as required and if you have provided all the documents.
- If the application is complete, you will be required to pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 for the banner of commercial purposes.
- Upon payment of the fee, the application will forward to the relevant RDA authority for processing.
- RDA will assess the application and if the application meets the RDA required merits, it will be approved for processing.
- The application will be processed and the permit will be issued to you.

FeesEdit
A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500/ (for each banner) in the case of commercial banners.
ValidityEdit
The validity of the permit depends on the applicant’s discretion but the banner should not remain on display for a period exceeding 15 days.
