Apply In-Person:
- To Apply for Tourist Visa in person, the applicant has to approach the Passport & Immigration Office.
- Please view the Passport and Immigration office contact information through this link
- Applicants should obtain the application form from the Passport & Immigration Office.
- The applicant should complete the application form as required such as name, address, phone number, email etc.
- The applicant has to provide all the necessary documents such as birth certificate, proof of residence and passport–sized photographs and they can be found under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant should submit the form along with all the necessary documents to the Passport & Immigration Office.
- Applicants should make sure to submit the application form through mail on [email protected] or office.
- The applicant has to present himself/herself at the Passport & Immigration Office for biometric data capture.
- The Visa is issued free of charge. There is no processing fee applicable.
- The Passport & Immigration Office will review the applicant’s application and make a decision.
- If the application is approved, the applicant will receive a notification letter from the Passport & Immigration Office informing him/her of the approval.
- The applicant can then proceed to collect the Tourist Visa from the Passport & Immigration Office.
- The applicant should keep the Tourist Visa in a safe place and renew it annually.
- Generally, the processing time is around 5 business days, although it can take up to 10 business days in some cases.

- Valid passport (for the applicant and whoever is traveling with you)
- Health Certificate (for the applicant and whoever is traveling with you)
- Two (2) recent passport-size photos
- Invitation letter from family / friend in Cameroon
- Flight itinerary / return air ticket
- Copy of identification documents,
- Letter of consent from the parent, and a copy of parent`s photo ID (for children under 18 years).
- Proof of sufficient funds (Recent bank statement)
- Marriage certificate (if travelling with spouse)
- Proof of relationship with dependent's (if any)

EligibilityEdit
In order to be eligible to apply for a tourist visa to Mauritius, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a visa-exempt country or a country eligible for a visa on arrival.
- Have a passport with at least six months of validity remaining.
- Have proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of their stay in Mauritius.
- Have a valid return or onward ticket.
- Have proof of accommodation in Mauritius.
- Be in good health.
- Have no criminal record.
