Apply In Person

  1. To apply for Statement of Ranking Scholarship Rank Order, the applicant should make the application to the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES). Please view the MES contacts through this link Contact details
  2. Obtain the application form from the MES office at the front desk or download the form directly through this link Application form
  3. Read and complete the form correctly in block letters and then print the form.
  4. Then obtain all the required supporting documents as instructed in the application form and attach the documents to the application form in single file.
  5. Go to the MES office and pay the non-refundable application fee at the cashier's desk and obtain the payment receipt.
  6. Then submit the complete application to the MES officer at the service desk.
  7. The officer will verify the application and issue the acknowledgment receipt of the application.
  8. The application will then be evaluated by the MES responsible official, if the application is complete as required, the statement will be prepared.
  9. The applicant will then be informed of the successful application and if the applicant opted to receive the statement through the registred post, the results will be sent to the applicant through the postal address.
  10. If the applicant had opted to collect the statement in person or by an authorized person, the applicant should visit the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) office, with their identification document or authorization letter and collect the statement.


Apply online

  1. To for Statement of Ranking Scholarship Rank Order online, the applicant should make the application on the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) Website at MES E-Service
  2. On the E-service page, click on the “Application for Statement of Ranking - Scholarship Rank Order (Sidewise e.g Science Side, Arts Side etc.)” hyperlink to open the online application form.
  3. Read the provided instructions on how to fill the application and then complete the form correctly in block capital letters. Note that all the relevant fields should be completed accordingly.
  4. Attach a copy of your Birth Certificate/ID Card/Passport as instructed on the form and once you have completed filling the application form, click on the “Submit” button to send your application.
  5. You will then receive a notification with your application details including the reference number of your application.
  6. Then proceed and pay the statement ranking fee at the State Bank of Mauritius and obtain the payment receipt. Note that the application reference number should be inserted in the remarks section of the Banking payment for reconciliation purposes.
  7. Upon payment, the MES will process your application and prepare the statement of ranking.
  8. You will then be informed that the statement is ready for collection, if you had opted to collect the statement in-person at the MES, visit the office and collect the statement at the service desk. Note that if you send a representative to collect the statement on your behalf, the representative must produce a letter of authorization for collecting the statement.
  9. If you had requested the MES to send the statement to you via your postal address while making your application, the MES will send the statement to the your postal address.


Note

  1. If the application is made on behalf of a close relative e.g., cousin, niece, etc. a letter of authorization should be uploaded.
