Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To apply for a duplicate occupational Permit, the applicant should make the application to the Occupation Permit Unit (OPU) under the Passport and Immigration Office. Please view the OPU contact details through this link: Contact Details
2. If the permit is lost or stolen, the applicant should visit the nearest police station to report the matter, and obtain the police report.
3. Then obtain the application form for the duplicate occupational permit from the Occupation Permit Unit service desk.
4. Complete the application form correctly and then prepare the supporting documents including the police report and attach the documents to the application form in a single file.
5. Go to the Occupation Permit Unit and pay the requisite application fee at the cash desk.
6. Submit the application file to the officer at the service desk for verification.
7. The officer will check your application if it is completed as required and it will be forwarded for processing within three days.
8. The application will be processed by the responsible authority and the duplicate occupational permit will be issued to the applicant.

• The validity of the occupational permit depends on the type of the occupational permit and it ranges between one year to ten years.
