Apply In Person
- To apply for the Conductor’s license, you should make your application to the National Land Transport Authority (NLTA). Please view the NLTA contact information through this link Contact details.
- Call at the NTA Head Office; Conductors’ counter to schedule suitable date of making your application for the license.
- Then obtain the application form for the license in person at the NLTA office or download the form through the NLTA website NLTA Downloads (Scroll down to find “Download Application Form to obtain a Conductor's Licence”). You can also download the form directly through this link Application Form
- Read and complete the form accordingly and then prepare all the required supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below and attach the documents to the application form.
- Then visit the NLTA office of the date scheduled and submit your application to the NLTA official at the Conductors’ counter.
- The official will verify your application to confirm if the application from is completed correctly and if you have provided all the required documents.
- Upon verification, if your application is correct, you will be issued a copy of regulations governing the duties of a conductor.
- Study and master the regulations governing the duties of a conductor and after few days, you will be called by the NLTA to undergo a written examination to assess your knowledge of regulations.
- Visit the NLTA office and complete the written examination and then NLTA will assess your knowledge through the written exams.
- If you pass the written exams, you will be convened for a briefing session.
- Then pay the fees for the conductor’s license and your badge at the cashier office.
- Upon the payment, you will be issued with your badge and license.
