  1. Go to a town hall ticketing office to file for your application. To find a town hall issuing national identity cards, go this Website.
  2. Fill out the application form which is available at the counter.

Who is concerned?

If your previous card was issued between 2004 and 2013 and you were of age at the time of issuance, it remains valid for 5 years after the expiry date indicated . For further information, visit here. You may, however, apply for the early renewal of your identity card by filing proof of a future trip to a country which authorizes the identity card as a travel document.
