- To apply for a driver’s license in Manitoba the applicant will need to first get a Class 5 Learner’s license.
- Study for the test.
- The applicant can book an online appointment here booking online
- The applicant will have to pay a fee of 10$.
- If the applicant fails this test, they will have to wait for 7 days before writing the test again.
- After completing the written test, the applicant is eligible for a road test.
- Enrol at the nearest driving school that has a valid permit.

- The applicant will have to pay a fee.
- The agent will check to see if you have good vision.
- Once the applicant passes these tests, a class 5 license will be issued.
- The applicant will receive a temporary license which they can use until the license card arrives by mail.
- Once the applicant receives the license card, they will have to destroy the temporary license.
- If the applicant fails this test, they will have to wait for 14 days before they can retake it.
- After a period of 15 months and without any suspensions, the applicant can apply for a full license.
- Schedule a test with the nearest autopac centre or ask the driving school for further guidance.
- The agent will inform you of the documents that are needed.
- The applicant will have to pass a vision test.
- The applicant will have to give a driver’s test.
- Once the applicant passes these tests, they can buy the license card.
- The applicant will be given a temporary license card until the card arrives through mail.

- The applicant must be at least 16 years of age, or a minimum of 15 years, six months and enrolled in a high school driver education course.
- Have parental consent if the applicant is under 18 years of age.
