Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Apply In-Person:
central government scheme - Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme
- To apply for this scheme, the eligible person has to submit two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the concerned District Social welfare Office.
- Link for contact details : Link please select your district name from the list provided under “Districts in Manipur” to reach next page. In the given page, please select menu option “DEPARTMENTS > SOCIAL WELFARE” for contact details.
- Obtain the application form from the respective counter OR write on a plain paper OR download using the following link. Application
- After scrutiny, the application is forwarded to the respective department for approval
- Following the approval, the approval letter is dispatched to the respective Post Office of the applicant or bank, where a savings account is opened in the name of the beneficiary for making the payments.
- In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.
Apply Online
- To Apply for State Disability Pension in Manipur the applicant can the make the application online via Manipur e- service portal (e- Paramann) link
- The applicant has to enter their used ID and Password or Mobile number and Password and click “Sign In”. If the applicant is a new user the applicant has to click “Sign up for MeriPehchaan” and register an account.
- Next the applicant has to click “Social Welfare” and click “Unemployment Allowances assistance to person with disabilities” to start the application.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Review the application and click “Submit”.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority. (If Applicable)
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
Apply Through CSC Centre
- To Apply for State Disability Pension in Manipur, the applicant has to approach the nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) Link
- Note: The applicant has to select their respective district to find nearby office to them.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant to provide their details to the officer in charge.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
- The applicant has to attach the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page (If required).
- Submit the completed application and document to the centre staff.
- The applicant has to pay the service fee as per the authority’s request.
- The application submitted will be processed and a receipt with the application number will be issued.
- The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about the date of the visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.

- Proof of Age
- Recent attested photograph showing the disability affixed here.
- Domicile certificate as per requirement
- Three passport size photographs of the applicant.
- Aadhaar card.
- Bank account details
- Mobile number.
- Passport size photograph of applicant (please take 5 copies).
- Any other document to claim benefits offered by respective state government as advised by authorities.
- Note : Please show above mentioned documents in original and attested copies thereof (to be submitted) at the time of applying.
