Manila - Online Community Tax Certificate
- STEP 1: Here are the steps on how you can obtain a Community Tax Certificate (CTC or cedula) online. To know more about the procedure, please check out this link : Required Documents – Obtain a Community Tax Certificate (Manila)
- STEP 2: Request for CTCs or cedulas may be submitted in two ways. You may send your request through the official website of the City Government of Manila. Here’s a link – City of Manila Website – Apply Online.
- Or, you can also send your request by using the Go Manila App. The app is available for download. On the website you may click the “Download Go Manila App” button (Encircled in YELLOW) to download the app or you can also search for it on the app store. You may send your request either way. The application process is the same in both cases. First time users/applicants will be asked to create an account before applying. To create an account, click the “Sign up now” button (Highlighted in GREEN box).
- NOTE: If you already have registered an account with the site or the app, you may proceed to STEP 9 of the procedure.

- STEP 3: To register to the site/app, click the “Sign up here” text (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 4: Fill up the registration form, and then tick the “Terms of Service” box (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 5: Declare your agreement to the Terms of Service by clicking the “Agree” button (Highlighted in YELLOW box). You will be redirected back to the registration page.

- STEP 6: Next, tick the “Data Privacy” box (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 7: Declare your agreement to the data privacy policy of the site by clicking the “Agree” button (Highlighted in ORANGE box). Again, you will be redirected back to the registration page.

- STEP 8: And finally, to submit your application for registration, click the “Sign up now!” button (Highlighted in RED box).

- STEP 9: Once registered, go back to the City of Manila’s website and log in to your account. City of Manila Website – Apply Online.
- Log in to your account by clicking the “Login” button (Highlighted in YELLOW).

- STEP 10: You may login to your account in two ways. One, by typing in your email address (the one you used when you registered for the site/app) and your password. Or, you may also login using your mobile number.
- As an example, we will login to the site using a mobile number. Click the “Login Via Mobile Number” button (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 11: A One Time Password will be sent to the mobile number you used when you registered to the site/app. Enter the code sent to you through text on the page shown below, and then click the “Submit” button (Highlighted in ORANGE box).

- STEP 12: This is your GO! Manila account profile. Complete your profile information. And also, don’t forget to upload a photo of you. Once you are done hit the “Update” button (Highlighted in RED).
- Note: If you have previously completed a transaction using the GO! Manila site/app. Do a quick review of your profile before applying for a new one. Just to be sure that all the information are correct and updated.

- STEP 13: A pop up notification on the upper right corner of the page will appear which says, “Profile successfully updated.” (Highlighted in YELLOW).

- STEP 14: Now that you have updated your profile, you may now place your request for a birth certificate. Start by clicking the “Select Transaction” button (Highlighted in GREEN).

- STEP 15: On the pop up, select “Community Tax Certificate CTC/CEDULA” (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 16: Select a transaction type by clicking the drop down menu (Encircled in RED).

- STEP 17: Select what type of CTC you are applying for (Highlighted in RED). For this example, we will be applying for CTC for individuals.

- STEP 18: To move on to the next step, click the “Proceed” button (Highlighted in RED box).

- STEP 19: This is the Personal Information Form. Normally, this form is automatically filled up with information available on your profile (STEP 12). But, just to be sure, review the information before clicking the “NEXT” button (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 20: On this page, you will be asked to provide additional information needed to process your request. Once you are done click the “NEXT” button (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 21: Lastly, you will need to complete the Transaction Information form. You are required to provide details about the status of your employment, profession, amount of your income, and the ID you will be presenting when you claim your certificate.

- STEP 22: Once you’re done with the form click the “Continue” button (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 23: This is the Application Summary page. Review your application once more before finally submitting it for processing. If you think all information are correct and you have already taken note of the amount that you will need to pay for your certificate, you may now click the “Submit” button (Highlighted in RED).

- STEP 24: You will receive a general reference number and a QR Code. Use the number or the QR code when you pay for your certificate. After payment, collect your acknowledgement receipt.
- STEP 25: If you are picking up your certificate, go to the Manila Civil Registry Office. Present acknowledgement receipt to receive your certificate.
