Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Applicants’ should visit the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL PREVOYANCE {INPS} branch agency office in your municipality and express your interest at the customer service desk and;

   • Collect necessary forms ,which should be completed accurately by your employer,
   • Attach all the required documents (see required document below); and
   • Submit the documents to be verified and recorded by the INPS agent.

2. The INPS agent will then verify the application file, if he/she is satisfied that the application file is in order, the file is registered and you will be issued with a receipt indicating the date of withdrawal of the response to the request.
3. Revisit the INPS office on the schedule pick up date as indicated on the withdrawal receipt with your NIC card and the withdrawal receipt and present them to be validated by the INPS registrar/ agent.
4. Your photo will then be taken at the picture booth, which will then be laminated on the INPS membership card and issued to you immediately.

• Copy of employee's birth certificate (original)
• Application for registration of an employee (original) filled with stamp by the employer
  

Additional document for married applicant:

• Copy of the birth certificate (original) of the employee's spouse
• Copy of extract of marriage certificate (original)
  

Additional document for applicant with children:

• Copy of the birth certificate (original) of his children

Eligibility

All Employee {local/foreign} employed in Mali either with the public or private sector or self-employed persons are eligible.

Fees

No fee associate with the service for employee

Validity

The card is valid until you retire and receive full compensation of your retirement benefits.

• National Institute of Social Prevoyance {INPS} membership card allows you to make monthly contributions whether you are employed or self-employed. Upon attaining the age of retirement, you will be able to receive your contributions with accumulated interest.
