Procedure

1. To obtain a license or permit for ship radio frequency transmitting station the applicant has to contact the Communication Authority of Maldives.
2. The applicant has to make a formal request in writing for the ship survey along with the copy of the ship registry and a fee or Rf 250/-
3. The ship surveying date will be provided to the applicant on the same day when the application had been made.
4. If equipment is approved, submit revenue stamp of Rf 100/- and license fee of Rf100/-. Revenue stamp will be available from the Ministry of Finance & Treasury, the Post Office and some bookshops.
5. After the submission of the above the license will be provided within 3 working days.
