Malaysia - Obtain Certificate of Status
ProcedureEdit
- The Certificate of Status is obtained by applying through Immigration Department Malaysia.
- Completed application form Form IMM 1Pin 2/93 3 should be submitted along with the documents that are listed under the Required Documents section
- Applications must be sponsored by a local sponsor class citizens and can be submitted in any State Immigration Office near the residence of the applicant / sponsor. For applications outside of Malaysia should be submitted via the Delegation of Malaysia near the residence of the applicant.

- Confirmation of Status Citizen of the JPN or Forms W of representatives of Malaysia abroad.
- Sijil birth of the applicant
- 3 photographs of the applicant measuring 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm
- 1 photographs of the sponsors measuring 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm
- Marriage certificate mother / father (Original and Copy)
- Passport mother / father (original and copy)
- Photos of applicants with family
- Citizenship certificate (if any)
- Marriage certificate mother / father (The original and a copy)

EligibilityEdit
Those eligible to apply for the certificate status is that they have a claim as a citizen of the Constitution of Malaysia as follows:
- Children born outside Malaysia where during his birth, his father was a citizen of Malaysia.
- Any Malaysian citizens residing abroad within a relatively long you want to return to Ireland where his Malaysian passport has expired validity.
- For foreigners who have become foreign citizens who want to return to Malaysia as Malaysian citizens.
