Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Obtain all the necessary documents form the country you indented to export to
2. Visit the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries with all the required documents for the application
3. Obtain the application form, fill and submit it to the Fisheries official with all the documents attached.
4. The officer will check if your application is correct then direct you to pay the necessary application fee
5. The application will be forward to the Director of the Fisheries who will order a pre-inspection of the consignments
6. Provide the department with the require sample of the fish for inspection
7. The inspector will verify the consignment if it meets the standard requirements at this point samples will be taken to the laboratory to be tested
8. Once it is confirmed that the consignment has meet the required standards, the inspector will forward a report to the director
9. Then your application will be approved and you will be notified to collect your complete export permit
