Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Write a request to the Director of environments affairs seeking to transport radioactive material and pay the application fee and obtain the payment receipt
2. Then the director will assign an inspector to you request
3. The inspector will conduct an inspection on the material to be transported and forward the findings to the Director
4. Based on the results the director will consult with the minster whether to approve the request
5. The director will approve the application and the certificate will be processed
6. Obtain your complete certificate and proceed with the transport

Instructions

• A person nor an entity shall not engage in the transportation of radioactive material without a license.
• Any transportation of radioactive material shall be carried out in compliance with national standards and applicable written law, and the technical requirements of the *Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material of the international *Atomic Energy Agency, as amended from time to time.
• The license shall have the primary responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of the radioactive material during transportation.
