Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. The exporter has to Visit the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Affairs office to book an appointment with the Director.Contact Link
2. The assigned officer will provide the necessary application form and a list of the required documents.
3.  Fill the application form provided by the officer which include the description of the genetic material, quantity, location of access, and proof of Mutually Agreed Terms with the communities or institutions that own the genetic resources and their associated genetic resources.
4.  Submit the completed application form to the officer who will verify it and forward it for approval.
5.  The exporter will be informed if the application is approved.
6. Now, pay the required fees.
7.  Visit the Environmental affairs department to collect the license, pay the application fees amount US 300 $ and a license will be issued.
