Procedure

To bid for a government contract Individual/establishment has to register themselves as an approved contractor. The contractors classified under different class ( Class-I/Class-II etc) are eligible to bid for different levels of government contracts.

Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant shall apply with the chief engineer of the respective PWD (Public works department) Divisional office.
2. Make sure that you are eligible for applying.
3. Go to the respective office.

5. Consult with the designated authority. Obtain the application form or write on an A4 sheet as advised.
6. Submit the completed application form along with required documents.
7. Submitted application will be verified by the authorities. If all are in place, applicant will be provided with acknowledgement for the submitted application.
8. Please pay the required fees/charges as appropriate and get the receipt from the department.
9. This application will be processed internally.
10. Once the applicant is found eligible, License will be granted as per applicable norms.
11. License will be delivered to the address mentioned while applying or it will be delivered as per notification.
    

Apply Online

2. In the given page please click “Here” hyper link in the phrase “New Suppliers and Contractors, click here to enroll.”
3. In the new page please go through the given information and make sure the requirements are met. Then click “Next” button.
4. Applicant will reach information page. Please go through the details and click “Accept” button to reach enrolment page.
5. Please follow the on screen information to complete page requirement and click “Save” button.
6. Once the above step is complete, Login button will be displayed.
7. Please enter the login credentials and click “Login” button.
8. Applicant will get a mail in the registered mail id. Please click the “Validate Login” button in the mail.
9. Once email validation is complete, user shall go to the home page. Please use the login credential as applicable at the given login prompt and click “Go” button to login.
10. In the resulting page click “Complete enrolment” button to reach a new page..
11. Here, please select “Fill Up Form” from drop down options against “Actions” and click “Go” button to reach online filling page.#follow the page prompt with mandatory details and click “Save” button.
12. In the resulting page please click “Done” button and follow the onscreen information to finish the online payment for this procedure if any.
13. The resulting page will show your current status is Approved. Now you will receive a system generated email confirming the status of registration. Keep it safe for future reference.
14. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
15. Submitted application will be verified by the authorities.
16. Please follow department notification.
17. Once the applicant is found eligible, License will be granted as per applicable norms.
18. License will be delivered to the address mentioned while applying or it will be delivered as per notification.
    

Note:

• Applicant will be asked to meet the concerned authority for interview.
• Department authority may conduct inspection of the workshop or the facility of the applicant
• It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department.

• Applicant should not be a
  • Retired Engineer of Gazetted rank or
  • Gazetted Officer employed on Engineering or
  • Person who held administrative duties in any engineering Department of the Government of India during the last two years.
