Maharashtra - Online Apply for Dealer License under Weights and Measure

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for dealer license under weights and measure

Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.

Step 3 : In the given page please click “Login” button highlighted in Red under “New dealer license” to get login page.

Step 4 : If you are a new user then use the “Register New User” option highlighted in Red and complete the registration form page. Then click “Submit” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 5 : After successful registration, click “Back to Home” option highlighted in RED.

Step 6 : Please enter the user name, password and click “Login” button highlighted in RED.

Step 7 : Now change the password and click “Change Password” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 8 : Again do login and click “Apply for Nomination” option at the left side of the page. Then click “Photo & Sign” option. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 9 : Complete the form and attach necessary documents. Then click “Save” tab highlighted in RED.

Step 10 : Upload required documents as per the prompt. Pay necessary fee and submit the application clicking “Send Request” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 11 : A system generated acknowledgement will be provided. Please save it for future reference.

Step 12 : An SMS alert will be sent to the applicant regarding application submission.

Step 13 : Application will be forwarded online to the concerned Assistant Controller.

Step 14 : After scrutiny by the Assistant Controller, short fall in the documentation if any will be intimated through SMS along with the date of inspection.

Step 15 : The premises will be inspected by the concerned Legal Metrology Officer and documents in original will be verified and security deposit if applicable would be collected.

Step 16 : The Application will be forwarded online to the issuing authority concerned.

Step 17 : The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.

Step 18 : If approved, certificate will be delivered as per applicable norms.
