Apply In-Person:
- In order to apply for the current adangal certificate, the applicant shall approach the land record section of the respective taluk office / tahsildar office within their jurisdiction where the property is situated.
- Contact Link2 please select the district as per the map to reach the next page. In the given page, please select menu option “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC CONVENIENCE>Municipality” OR “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES > Municipalities” to get contact details.
- Please visit the respective office and consult with the designated authority about the applying procedure.
- The applicant shall collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
- Please complete the application form with the mandatory details as advised. Attach the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page and submit it to the designated receiving authority as advised.
- After receiving the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Please pay the fees/charges as applicable as per acceptable mode and don’t forget to take the receipt.
- Please pay the processing fee or charges as per authority’s quote while applying offline.
- The authorities will make entries about this application in the manual record or electronically using the computer. A record number will be given as acknowledgement for receipt of the application form. Please collect it and keep it safe for future reference.
- ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number. Please keep track of the notification.
- Applicant will be informed of the probable date of getting the copy of revenue record.
- This application will be processed internally. The concerned authority will verify the applicant’s details against the manual record or using the online data using a computer.
- After scrutiny of documents and verification of information, these applications along with remarks, printout/copy of the adangal record page and comments will be sent to the respective sanctioning department.
- Concerned sanctioning authority will approve the adangal certificate with seal and signature as per the format applicable.
- The status, viz. approval, will be conveyed to the applicant through a “SMS” or as per applicable norms.
- Once the adangal certificate is ready for issuance, the adangal certificate can be delivered to the applicant’s address by speed post, or it will be hand-delivered as per the delivery type mentioned on the application, or it will be delivered as per applicable norms.
- The whole process can be completed within 7 days from the receipt of the application or as per the timeline provided by the department.
- NOTE: If the certificate is a digitally signed one, it does not require any physical signature.

- The subdivision patta issued is liable for cancellation without prior intimation if the department finds any false declaration by the applicant in the future.
- The property should be under the enjoyment of the applicant.
- The property should not be acquired under the Urban Land Ceiling Act.
- The property should not be acquired by the Government for any other purpose.
- Incomplete application will be rejected.
- Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
