The Revenue Department of the respective State is the concerned department for the issuance of the Agricultural Labour Certificate. The tahsildar / designated authority are the competent authority to sanction this certificate.

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply, the applicant has to approach the concerned tahsildar office / Block Development Officer’s office / Circle Officer’s office of the respective area revenue department whichever is applicable to apply.
  2. Link for the office contact details: Panchayat please use the excel sheet hyperlink against your state for contact details AND Link1 AND Link2 please select the district as per the map to reach next page. In the given page please select menu option “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC CONVENIENCE>Municipality” OR “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES > Municipalities” OR “ABOUT THE DISTRICT” > “Who’s (Whose) who” to get contact details.
  3. Go to the respective office. Consult with the designated authority about the applying procedure and Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  4. Complete the application form with mandatory details.
  5. After completing the application with mandatory details please visit your area Village Administrative Officer (VAO) / the designated authority as advised to obtain authentication for “CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYMENT”.
  6. The authenticating authority will go through the application. On the satisfaction grounds, the authority will authenticate the application stating “Certified that the particulars furnished by the applicant in the application for registration are true to the best of my knowledge” or as appropriate with his/her seal and signature.
  7. Now this application is ready for submission.
  8. Please revisit the applying office and submit your application form along with the entire required documents as per our “Required Documents” section.
  9. After receiving the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place the application will be accepted. Please pay the fees/charges if any as per requirement and don’t forget to take the receipt.
  10. Authorities will make entries about this application in the manual record or electronically using the computer.
  11. Acknowledgement receipt will be given against the application form received. Please collect it and please keep it safe for future reference.
  12. Applicant will be informed of the probable date of getting this certificate.
  13. This application will be processed further. Concerned authorities will verify the applicant’s details.
  14. After verification, these applications will be sent to the respective sanctioning department with the consent of the verification authorities.
  15. Concerned sanctioning authority will take the right decision based on the outcome of the submitted report.
  16. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  17. If approved the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued as per applicable norms.


Apply through Aaplesarkar

  1. To apply online, the applicant shall follow the given aaple sarkar link: Link and click on the "New User? Register Here" tab.
  2. From the given options, select any one mode to create User ID and Password.
  3. Now verify UID or Create your own user profile using OTP verification on your mobile.
  4. A new page will open up where the applicant has to fill up all the personal detail(Name, D.O.B, Age, Gender, etc) in the portal.
  5. Now enter the address as per the document.
  6. After that provide mobile number and OTP, PAN No., UID No., and confirm password.
  7. Now upload a photograph between 5kB to 20kB in JPEG format.
  8. Now choose from the drop now menu any one of the Proof of Identity.
  9. Finally provide a Proof of Address by clicking from the menu on screen.
  10. Click on the declaration box and then click the "Register" tab.
  11. Now login with the user credentials.
  12. After login, click Link and then click on “Apply”.
  13. The applicant will get an application displayed.
  14. Fill up the application form correctly and pay the requisite fee.
  15. On completion, the applicant will be notified.
  16. You can check the status of the application in the portal by signing in with User ID and password.



Note:
  • Every agricultural labour certificate holder shall be issued with an Identity Card for a family. Please get details on this from your tahsildar office. This Identity Card shall be ensured for permanent use of the members as proof of Identity.
  • Applicant has to bring original documents while applying for verification and scanning if required.
  • Without cross signature on photograph and signature on undertaking the application will be rejected

EligibilityEdit

  • The citizen who needs the agricultural labour certificate should be a permanent resident of the respective state while applying.
  • A person in the age group of 18 to 65 years (or as per the age limit fixed by respective state) is eligible to apply.
  • Those who are holding wet land not exceeding 2.50 acres or dry land not exceeding 5.00 acres under a registered tenancy agreement and carry on direct cultivation of that land are eligible to apply. The land area limit may vary with respect to the State.

  • “Agricultural labourer” means, any person in the age group of 18 to 65 years, engaged to work in agricultural or allied agricultural operations for wages but who does not own any land.
  • Incomplete application will be rejected.

  • Agricultural labour certificate is mandatory to apply or to get the relief or assistance for marriage, accidental death or injury, natural death, funeral expenses, old age pension etc.
