Procedure

Through Enrolment centres:

1. Applicant has to locate an enrolment centre to apply. Online link for enrolment centre : Centre link
2. Enrolment Centres of Aadhaar in state : Link please select the district as per the map to reach next page. In the given page please select ”Citizen services” menu Or menu icon on the right part of the page to get sub option. Here select “citizen services” to get list of services.
3. Book an Appointment for processing. Link for appointment : link for appointment
4. With / without online appointment, applicant has to physically go to the AADHAAR card enrolment centre with required documents.
5. Submit the required documents to the authority in the centre.
6. Authority will process the details online as per the documents provided (operator would check whether this data is already available through different application)
7. Applicant will be asked to get biometric scanning for finger print followed by Iris scanning and then Photograph session to complete the requirement for processing.
8. Upon completion of above steps, Applicant will be issued with an acknowledgement receipt for future reference and the request will be processed further.
   

Note:

• User can use the following link for “mAadhaar” App. : link useful to carry soft copy of aadhaar.
• Contact local bank branch to get the details of designated Bank branches for Aadhaar Enrolment in their area.

Apply Online

1. Go to Link
2. Select city/location under “Select City/location” tab and proceed
3. Now click on “Proceed to Book Appointment”.
4. On a newly opened page, click on “Manage Appointments” and provide your mobile number and captcha code.
5. After that, click on “Generate OTP”.
6. On receiving the OTP, enter the same on the given slot and proceed
7. Now, choose an appropriate slot from the given option and proceed further as directed on screen
8. On successful booking, the applicant will be informed via SMS/Phone call or through the portal.
9. The applicant will be notified on further processing.

Apply Through app

1. To make an appointment through the app, the applicant shall download the app from the playstore via the given link Link
2. Once downloaded, Select the preferred language and continue
3. On the given page, login with your enrolment number to proceed further
4. A page will open up with a list of services being provided, select “Register My Aadhar”
5. The applicant can check the status by clicking on “Check Aadhar Status” and provide the details as prompted on the screen.
6. Once it's issued, the card will be generated on the portal
7. The applicant shall click on the “Download Aadhar” tab to get the aadhar card.
8. The applicant may also enter their pin code and collect the same from the nearest enrolment centre by showing the reprint.

Apply In-Person:

1. The applicant must visit the nearest aadhar enrolment centre.
2. Get an aadhar correction form from the centre and fill in the form with precise details.
3. Submit the form and make a request with the aadhar executive, providing the aadhar number for issuing a duplicate card.
4. The authority will verify the identity using biometrics
5. Once verified, the request will be processed.
6. Upon completion, the applicant shall receive a new aadhar card at the residence.

Eligibility

• From a new born to a senior citizen, everyone can enrol for Aadhaar.
• Indian resident and Non-resident Indian

Fees

Rs 50 which is inclusive of printing charges, speed post charges and GST.

Validity

Valid for lifetime.

Need for the Document

• Aadhaar card is an initiative by the government to organize citizen.
• Unique Identification Authority of India, issues this card. It is a 12 digit identity contains combination of numbers and alphabets.
• Aadhaar card is mandatory in opening bank account.
• Aadhaar card is useful in most of the application for obtaining voter id, ration card, pan card, Land registration, Driving license, Vehicle registration and more.
• If in case your Aadhaar card is lost / damaged / misplaced, one has to apply for duplicate Aadhaar card
