Apply In-Person

  1. To Apply TR (Transport, Commercial) driver license in Madhya Pradesh the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.
  2. Please follow our “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page to get details of the RTO offices. Link for RTO contacts: Link for contact
  3. Application form can be downloaded using the following link: [ https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/en/content/all-forms Application forms]
  4. Following application forms are required Form 8, Form 5 (only for those who trained through Driving School) and Form 15.
  5. Please make sure you have all the documents to process the application
  6. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying (8th Pass, 1 Year Valid License…)
  7. Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices
  8. Present the completed application forms along with required documents in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
  9. Applicant has to qualify the drive test. Applicant on successful completion of test drive will be asked to get photographed for the license copy. Applicant will get the License

Apply through state portal - Madhya Pradesh Apply for TR Driver License online with Images

  1. In order to apply online, please follow the link online state portal link
  2. Select “License application and appointment system” option in the drop down menu under “Online services”.
  3. In the next window, please select the Endorsement under DL- Driving License section to get the next page
  4. Here enter the prompted details and hit “apply” to go to the next screen
  5. Here, enter / select prompted details and complete the page by click selecting “Apply License”.
  6. You will be prompted “Are you sure everything is correct”, please click “Ok”
  7. In the next window details of application and appointment for your visit will be displayed. Please check for correctness and scroll down to view the details about fees to be paid.
  8. You will be prompted to select option to pay. Select the option suitable for you to pay online and hit “Make Payment”.
  9. You will be prompted to click “ok” if all the details are correct otherwise click “cancel”.
  10. On selecting “Ok”, again there will be an prompt “I hereby accept the terms and conditions”
  11. Payment gateway proceeds to complete the payment.
  12. Upon completion, an application slip will be generated. Take the printout and go to RTO office on appointment day to complete the procedure.
  13. At the RTO office, Present the print out of application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
  14. From this point the process of apply in person will be carried out to grant the license

Apply for Re-Test

  1. In order to apply online, please follow the link online state portal link
  2. Select “License application and appointment system” option in the drop down menu under “Online services”.
  3. In the next window, please select the DL-ReTest under “Re-test Appointment”
  4. In the next page, enter the reference id obtained at the time of applying and hit “Apply” to process online and get the Retest scheduled.

  1. Completed application in Form 8
  2. Form 5 (Transport vehicle only for those who trained through Driving School).
  3. Form 15 (Those who trained through Driving School).

  6. Valid Learner’s License for which additional class of vehicle is required.
  7. Documents of vehicle in which applicant proposes to appear for test of competence to drive (such as Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Tax Card, Pollution under Control Certificate, Fitness Certificate in case of Transport Vehicle).
  8. Consent letter from vehicle owner, to conduct driving test in his vehicle if the vehicle is not owned by the applicant.
  9. Passport size photographs-3 copies
  10. Proof of address(Ration Card / Electoral Roll / Aadhaar Card..)
  11. Pay slip issued - Govt. Office (or) a Local Body
  12. School Certificate, Birth Certificate
  13. Affidavit Sworn by the applicant before an Executive (or) a First Class Judicial Magistrate (or) Notary Public
  14. proof of age (any one of the following to be produced)
    • Ration Card / Electoral Roll / LIC Policy / Aadhaar Card / Passport
  15. Medical Certificate in the case of applicant age above 50 years

EligibilityEdit


  1. Applicant should have a valid one year old license, which can be called as one year of experience.
  2. Qualification: Minimum 8th Pass
  3. Should have local residential proof
  4. Applicant should be minimum 20 years old

ValidityEdit


  • valid for 3 years from the date of its issuance
  • Subsequently it can be renewed for a further period of 3 years and so on
  • Valid throughout India

Processing TimeEdit


  • Within 3 days
  • Once the document and application processed – the applicant will receive a serial number on the registered mobile number - then applicant have to attend the test
  • After completion of Driving test, the License will be issued on the same day or within a week’s time
  • Renewal can be obtained immediately

Need for the DocumentEdit


  • One need to get TR Driver License in ordered to drive commercial transportation including light goods carrier and passenger carrier, even if he has a valid driving license to operate two wheeler and car
  • TR Driver license is issued for eligible driver with valid one year old driving license
