Apply In-Person
- To apply for driver school license in Madhya Pradesh the applicant has to approach the nearest RTO office link
- Application form can be downloaded using the following link: link please refer page no 11.
- The applicant has to complete the details in the application form.
- Also make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application
- Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
- Present the completed application forms along with documents in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
- Once the application is received, the authorities will start processing the application
- They will verify document submitted. Inspect the premises for basic infrastructure and all acceptable requirements.
- Check the vehicle kept for training and the instructor.
- Upon successful completion the license will be issued.
- The processing time for this procedure is within 15 days.

- The applicant should indicate the category of the vehicle(s) for which license has to be obtained.
- Solvency Certificate
- Rental Agreement deals (if any) for the premises where the driving school or establishment is situated.
- Details pertaining to the vehicles possessed.
- Details pertaining to the instructor as per rules.

EligibilityEdit
- Dual control vehicle used for Training at Driving School and has to be certified by the Inspecting Authority
- The Instructor should have minimum qualification of 10th pass with 5 years’ experience in Driving with valid Driving Licence.

- Permanent License is valid for 5 years and can be renewed for 5 years
- Temporary license is valid for 1 year

Need for the DocumentEdit
- The Central Government has framed certain rules with regard to the establishment of driving schools, the requirements to be fulfilled by such licensees, authority competent to grant, renew, and suspend/revoke such licenses and all other related matters.
- Every driving school has to get a license from the concerned licensing authority and a duty is cast upon them to produce “quality drivers” for which quality training is absolutely necessary.
- The quality of drivers is also crucial in prevention of accidents. The driving schools, therefore, play a key role in producing skillful drivers who could meet the international standards.

- The driving schools run by the individuals/others are regulated by certain statutory provisions as under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and C.M.V.Rules,1989
- Section 12 of M.V. Act 1988 deals with the licensing and regulation of driving schools or establishments (by whatever name called) for imparting instruction in driving of motor vehicles and related matters.
