Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Obtain a Certificate of Criminal Record, the applicant has to make the application online via – link
2. From the following link, the applicant has to click the “Application for Certificate of Criminal Record”.
3. The applicant has to enter the user ID and password and then click the “Login” button.
4. The applicant has to select the “Certificate of Criminal Record” from the list.
5. Enter all the necessary details in the application form and click the “Send” button.
6. The applicant has to visit the office to show the required documents.
7. Also, pay the required amount of fee as per the authority’s request.
8. Upload all the necessary documents are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page should be submit while visiting the office.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
11. After completing all the processes, the applicant gets the certificate from the office.
12. This entire process can be completed within 20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
    
    

Applying process in Macau for citizen and non citizen.

a. Apply In-Person

1. To Obtain a Certificate of Criminal Record, the applicant has to approach the Identification Services Bureau – link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. or it can be downloaded from the following link – link
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
12. The applicant has to visit the office to get the clearance certificate.
13. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Applying process - overseas for non citizen

a. Apply through mail(post)

a. Apply through representative

1. Applicant shall mandate a authorized representative to apply on their behalf with Identification Services Bureau.
2. The mandated person should be entrusted with the written authorization.

4. Applicant shall go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.

6. This application will be processed by respective department.
7. The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in person upon notification or issued as per norms.

Eligibility

• Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
• Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
